Meet Our Staff Volume Thirteen: Allie Peyton

Allie Peyton

1. Why do you choose YoBa?
I choose YoBa because of its friendly and supportive community. I have met some of my most dearest friends here. There is nothing better than being surrounded by your people while moving your body! It's constantly challenging, yet safe and I love the movement YoBa Studio offers during each and every class.

2. What do you love about infrared heat?
I have a hip disease that I was diagnosed with year ago. When it flares up I battle with it and the aches and pains it brings. The infrared heat has been a GAME CHANGER for my joints and for my body. Since utilizing YoBa Studios infrared heat I have less flares, aches and pains. The infrared heat has been therapeutic for me and makes my body feel SO good!

3) Raleigh Guide
a) Favorite Places to Eat: Brewery Bhavana, Taverna Agora, Players Retreat, The Station, Juice Keys, The Simple Greek, Gonza Tacos & Tequila... all the places!
b) Favorite Places to Play: Obviously YoBa Studio, CORE Fitness Studio, any Raleigh park or greenway, The Farmers Market, The Point, Lynnwood Brewery, and Neuse River Brewery
c) Favorite Places to Shop: lululemon north hills, Madison, or anywhere in Cameron Village or North Hills!

4. If you had to plan out your perfect day in Raleigh, what would you do?
I would start with a morning class at YoBa. Then I would head home for a long walk with my hubby and beagle pup (Ficklen). We'd probably stop for lunch or beers along our walk (The Point, anywhere in Glenwood South or LBC). After our walk, we would head home to shower and then get ready to host friends at our house for drinks and dinner! My husband is quite the chef and we love hosting friends at our house on any given night. After dinner and drinks we would probably walk up to Five Points and have a drink or play some pool at Churchills!
