Meet Our Staff Volume Nine: Molly Rose

Molly Rose

1) Why do you choose YoBa?

I chose YoBa because the atmosphere has taught me that the power in movement is spiritual not physical. I grew up an athlete, and then became a Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor in college. I’ve always loved the power of movement to build my self-confidence and provide me with community. However my history with movement has always been focused on achievement. Playing sports and studying exercise science teaches you how to physically achieve movement patterns. When I started moving at YoBa, I was encouraged to tune into my spirit and move according to how I could serve my body. For the first time ever I was moving for my spirit not pushing for physical achievement. YoBa  allowed me to discover that movement blossoms from spiritual connection.

2) What do you love about infrared heat?

I love the infrared heat because it is symbolic that we shine or we build heat from the inside out.  The heat builds inside your body which gives you the ability to increase or decrease the heat for your personal practice.

3) Raleigh Guide:

a) Favorite places to eat: Neomonde, Gonza Tacos and Living Kitchen

b) Favorite places to play: Lucky Tree Coffee shop and Art Gallery, Lake Johnson, Flywheel Sports, and YoBa Studio of course!

c) Favorite places to shop: lululemon North Hills, The Flourish Market, and Amazon :-)

4) If you had to plan out your perfect day in Raleigh, what would you do?

If I had to plan a perfect day in Raleigh it would start bright and early at YoBa Studio with a Hot Flow, followed by a “ Gimme Mo’ ” bowl for breakfast at Juicekeys. The day would then continue with a walk exploring a local park such as Lake Johnson or Dorothea Dix. I would continue the day with shopping in North Hills or Cameron Village, with a stop for a latte at a local coffee shop! I would finish the day with a delicious dinner at Living Kitchen and then walking around downtown Raleigh.
